Interview with Cascada (Germany 2013): Germany was represented by Cascada at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Glorious"
which reached Number 21 in the Grand Final. As Germany as well as
Italy, France, Spain and the United Kingdom are part of the Big Five
they have already place in the Grand Final and do not need to go through
the Semi Final stage. The Team of Radio International had the big
pleasure to meet Nathalie from Cascada for an interview in the Press
Centre after her Press Conference. Hear it on this week's edition of the
show. In addition, Eric also chatted with the backing vocalists of
Cascada during the Meet & Greet Session.

Interview with Alyona Lanskaya (Belarus): Belarus was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 by Alyona Lanskaya with the song "Solayoh".
Belarus has a kind of a "traditiion" in having a national final with a
winning song but then change either the singer or the song. In 2012,
Alyona Lanskaya was the winner of the national final but then Belarus
sent Litesound to Baku to represent Belarus at the Eurovision Song
Contest. Alyona Lanskaya submitted a song again this year called "Rythm of Love"
which won the national final but then the song was replaced by
"Solayoh" which successfully qualified Belarus for the Grand
Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 reaching Number 16. The song
has international involvement as it was written by Belgian song writer
Marc Paelinck and published by Germany's CAPSOUND. Radio International
met Alyona at Eurovision in Concert 2013 in Amsterdam last April but
then again had the pleasure to meet the singer for an interview in
Malmoe which you can hear on this week's edition of Radio
International. You can watch this interview also on our YouTube Channel - click here
Interview with Marc Paelinck - Song Writer (Belarus 2013): Many
countries have amazing songwriters but it also happens that countries
ask songwriters from other countries to write songs for their artists
such as Thomas G:sson for Georgia this year or Ralph Siegel writing for
San Marino this year and also in 2012. Marc Paelinck is no
stranger to the world of the Eurovision Song Contest as he has been
writing many songs for the Eurovision stage. He is behind Chiara's "What if we"
which took it to Number 22 for Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest
2009 in Moscow. But also he is behind the entry of Belarus at this
year's Eurovision Song Contest "Solayoh" performed by Alyona Lanskaya
(see above). JP had the big pleasure to meet the songwriter in the
Press Centre for a nice interview which is scheduled for broadcast
during this week's edition of the show. You can watch this interview also on our YouTube Channel - click here
Interview with the Dorians (Armenia 2013): Armenia returned to the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the Dorians performing the song "Lonely Planet"
which successfully qualified Armenia for the Grand Final of the
Eurovision Song Contest and then ranked at Number 18 in the Final. Find
out details about the Dorians during the interview which was done
with the band during the Meet & Greet Sessions in the Euroclub.
Listen to the interview during this week's edition of Radio
International. You can watch this interview also on our YouTube Channel - click here
Interview with Aliona Moon (Moldova 2013): Pasha Parfeny represented Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku
with the song "Lautar" reaching Number 11. In his group of backing
vocals was Aliona Moon who this year is the main singer representing
Moldova in Malmö singing the power ballade "A mie" (A million)
which reached Number 11 in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song
Contest 2013. The song was
written by Pasha Parfeny who also played the piano on stage supporting
Aliona at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. JP had the pleasure to have a
little chat with Aliona after the Winners' Press Conference after her
Semi Final. You can watch this interview also on our YouTube Channel - click here | Interview with Aliona after the Winners' Press Conference of Semi Final 1 - click here
