As the Team of Radio International is in Malmö, Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest this and next week Radio International broadcasts its traditional programme "Eurovision 2012 meets Eurovision 2013" as a review to last year's Eurovision Song Contest entries and a look ahead of the songs that are competing in 2013. This way you can compare the songs per country. This week it is Part 1 of 2. Part 2 will be broadcast at the same time next week. 

 

39 countries are competing for the trophy and the right to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The countries are distributed into two Semi Finals and the Top Ten of both Semi Finals meet in the Grand Final on the Big Five (Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy and the host country Sweden.

 

Semi Final 1 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is scheduled for Tuesday, 14 May 2013.

Semi Final 2 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is scheduled for Thursday, 16 May 2013.

The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is scheduled for Saturday, 18 May 2013.
