 Interview with Cascada (Germany 2013): On Thursday, 14 February
2013 Germany selected their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2013
for Malmö, Sweden. In a smashing exciting show hosted by Anke Engelke
from the TUI Arena in Hannover a mix of Televoting, Jury Voting and
Radio Voting the choice fell on to Cascada who are no stranger to the
world of Dance and Pop music. Founded in 2004 and fronted by lead-singer
Natalia Horler, Cascada had a string of hits in the early 2000s One of their biggest hits was "Every time we touch". More details are available here.
Radio International in collaboration with Euro-Friends.com and
escXtra.com have a couple of interviews with the lead singer Natalia
done right after the Press Conference held after the victory on
Thursday. Cascada will be representing Germany at the Eurovision Song

 Live Interview with Zoë Alexis (Ireland 2013, Pre-Selection):
Ireland will be selecting their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest
2013 this coming Friday, 22 February 2013 in RTE's Late Late Show. Five
acts will be competing for the Ticket to Malmö, Sweden where the 58th
Eurovision Song Contest will be staged. Amongst the five acts is also
this week's guest on Radio International - Zoë Alexis who will be performing the song "Fire" as written by Lauren White, Niall Mooney and Willie Weeks, in the Late Late Show. More details about the singer Zoë Alexis of

 Interview with Amber (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2013): On
Saturday, 02 February 2013 Malta selected their entry to the Eurovision
Song Contest 2013 with a young medical doctor by the name of Gianluca Bezzina who will be the Ambassador of Malta in Malmoe waving the Maltese Flag and singing the song "Tomorrow" which won Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Continuing the series of interviews with Maltese music talent Radio International this week airs an interview with Amber who came 4th in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "In Control".
Amber was part of the Maltese Delegation in Baku being on stage with
Kurt Calleja performing "This is the night". Amber's first appearance in
the Malta Eurovision Song Contest was in 2011 with two songs and also

 Interview with Chris Grech (Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2013): Following to Amber in the Final Ranking of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is Chris Grech who as newcomer to this competition came 5th with the song "Never walk away".

National Selection period is in full swing where countries are
selecting their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 that
will be staged in Malmö, Sweden on the 14 May 2013 (Semi Final 1),
16 May 2013 (Semi Final 2) and 18 May 2013 (Grand Final) where so far 39
countries will be competing for the trophy and the rights to hold the
Eurovision Song Contest 2014. As every year Radio International reviews
the National Finals with the regular correspondents and this week it is
the turn of Alasdair Rendall who will be taking a look at the selection process of Austria, Germany, Greece and Latvia. Find a full listing of the upcoming National Finals here.
 Eurovision UnderCover: Last week, Radio International started a brand new series on the show featuring Eurovision Cover Versions where

will be intoducing some of the finest Eurovision Song Contest
entries covered by other singers. Just be surprised. You will be hearing
the actual song that has been on the Eurovision stage followed by the
cover. Enjoy the brand new series. Listeners are encouraged to send in
their cover versions they came across over the years to share with the
other fans tuning into the show. Alternatively, listeners can send in
their request for a particular Eurovision covered song using this link.
 New Song Releases by Eurovision Artists: Radio
International is always keen to know how the careers of Eurovision
performers develop after their performance at the event. The show is in
collaboration with many Music Companies that supply Radio International
with the latest songs of their signed up artists to bring the muisc
closer to the fans. On a weekly basis Radio International receives songs
which are being featured on the show.
 This week's latest arrival on the show's desk is the new song by Hera Bjoerk which you can hear on Radio International this week. It is called "Because you can" and details about the song and Itunes download link is available here. Hera is one of the six finalists to compete in the Vina del Mar International Song Contest 2013 with this song.
