ImageRadio International TV Channel with Chat Room: Radio International launched its own Livestream TV Channel where fans can join and see how we actually do Radio International and listen to the show while chatting with the other Eurovision fans joining the community.  But also you can watch there the many interviews the Team of Radio International has done over the past weeks and also a re-run of the weekly edition of Radio International. Enjoy and tell your friends to join and be part of the Radio International Community! The Team of Radio International is on holidays 

Please note that many interviews we air are also available as video interview which can be viewed on our Radio International YouTube Channel. Just take a look and enjoy also see the artists talk to us. 
 

Please note that for the next three editions of the show exceptionally there is no Livestream transmission per video as you are used to,  however, in order to listen to the show and be able to chat with your Eurovision Friends it is recommended that this week you do the following steps:

1.
Tune into the Radio International Live Stream Channel by clicking here.

2.
Mute the sound of the video being played back on the livestream channel. The Chatroom already is open and you can start chatting with your Eurovision friends. 

3.
To listen to this week's show as from 2000 hours on Wednesday evening click on this link which is the player from the radio station. You should then have the audio livestream from the radio station. Alternatively, click here to reach the show in the Show Archive where you will be able to find the show.

Image(Hour 1 and Hour 2) The Craziest Eurovision Song Contest entries:  Most of the team members of Radio International are on holidays during the month of September. Therefore, JP is joined by Eric Lehmann in the studio to bring you three special editions of the show. Eric & JP each week for the next three weeks will play and discuss about the craziest Eurovision Song Contest entries as sent in by the listeners to the show and also as compiled by the Team of Radio International.  This is in the first two hours of the show whereas the third hour as another special in store for you. Enjoy!

ImageInterview with Josh Dubowie (United Kingdom 2010):  In addition to the Crazy Eurovision entries Radio International also airs an interview with Josh Dubowie who represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "That sounds good to me" which unfortunately only ended up at Number 25. Josh was part of the guest line-up at a Charity Concert with Eurovision Performers organised by the Toma Fund in Gateshead, United Kingdom. JP, Chris and Pam chatted with the young singer about the Eurovision Song Contest and upcoming music career.  

Image (Hour 3) Eurovision meets South Africa (Fourth Series, Part 1):  After the success of the first three series' Radio International is delighted to present to you the next and fourth series. This is the first of three parts where Radio International broadcasts a series of shows where you can hear the enthusiasm of South African artists recording Eurovision Song Contest entries into Afrikaans. This truely is something very special and we wish to thank Roy van der Merve, Neil and Carel van Eden for contacting Radio International to make the Eurovision Fans aware of this ongoing project and the interest int he Eurovision Song Contest in South Africa.

Enjoy the show where we first play the original entry that was at the Eurovision Song Contest which will be followed up with the artist(s) from South Africa singing the song in Afrikaans. 

Due to the special show this week there is no Eurovision News, Interviews, Quiz and other features. Also Radio International cannot take any requests to be played this week - however, you can send the music requests in to CONTACT for future shows when all is back to normal.
 
ImageHome Composed Song Contest 2012 - Call out for submissions:  As in previous years Radio International supports the Home Composed Song Contest which is a songwriters competition across Europe and beyond. 2012 marks the 21st edition of the Song Contest and the 2011 edition was won by Denmark and this year's edition is hosted by Spain. Contact the website of the Home Composed Song Contest to find out further details how to submit your entries and also what the schedule looks like. Check our more and EXTRA news on the Eurovision Song Contest by visiting the website hereJust for the next three weeks there will be no news with Luke on Radio International due to the Team's holidays.

Eurovision Music requests as well as other music requests are most welcome and can be done via our website's CONTACT US page. Let us know what you want to hear and where you are from. Due to the large number of requests we received and cannot accommodate this week these requests will be added to the play list for the future shows. Just note for the next three weeks the shows are themed and therefore we cannot take requests but you can send submit your requests anyway and they will be played as from October 2012.
