ImageRadio International TV Channel with Chat Room: Radio International launched its own Livestream TV Channel where fans can join and see how we actually do Radio International and listen to the show while chatting with the other Eurovision fans joining the community.  But also you can watch there the many interviews the Team of Radio International has done over the past weeks and also a re-run of the weekly edition of Radio International. ImageEurovision in Concert 2012:  The annual Eurovision Music extravaganza takes place in Amsterdam for the fourth time where this year is a record of 24 countries' representatives will perform their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 which will come from Baku, Azerbaijan on May 22, 24 and 26. Rene Romkes one of the prime organisers of the event will be joining the show to give us the latest details of Eurovision in Concert 2012 with will take place on Saturday, 21 April 2012 in Amsterdam's Melkweg. ImageEurovision Reunited: The Toma Fund of Newcastle in the United Kingdom organised an amazing event on Wednesday, 11 April 2012 in the Sage, Gateshead with the involvement of many Eurovision Winners and performers such as Linda Martin, Johnny Logan, Bobbysocks, Anne-Marie David, Scott Fitzgerald, Scooch, Josh Dubovi, Nicki French, Black Lace and others. The aim of the event was to raise money in aid of the the Toma Fund and children suffering from cancer. Details about the Toma Fund can be found here and who wishes to donate money for this good cause please see the website how to donate.  Radio International was on location as the only Eurovision media having the great pleasure to interview the artists. Of course, the team is extremely happy to share these interviews with the fans of Eurovision via this week's edition and furture editions of Radio International. At this point a big Thank you to Chris and Pam Poppe for co-interviewing and filming the interviews. ImageInterview with Linda Martin (Ireland Winner 1992):  Linda Martin, the Winner for Ireland back in 1992 with "Why me" and also represented the Green Island back in 1984 with the song "Termianl 3" becoming the Runner Up after Sweden with the Herreys and  "Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley". 137 points for Linda Martin who this year is the Mentor for the crazy Irish Twins Jedward who will represent Ireland for the second time at the Eurovision Song Contest. Linda will accompany Jedward to Baku and takes care that all goes well and hopefully can get Jedward to win for Ireland. ImageInterview with Black Lace (United Kingdom 1979):  Black Lace represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 1979 with the song "Mary Ann" coming 7th with 73 points. Founded in 1969, Black Lace also had a string of huge hits in the European Charts with songs such as "Agadou", "Do the Conga", "Hokey Cokey" just to mention a few. ImageInterview with Scooch (United Kingdom 2007):   Great to see the Eurovision Airhosts back again and that for a good cause. Originally founded in 1998 with a string of UK Chart successes e.g. "For sure" the Scooch was selected to represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Helsinki's Hartwall Arena with the song "Flying the Flag" which reached Number 23 with 19 points in the Grand Final of the contest which was won by Serbia's Maria Serifovic and "Molitva". Three of the four members of the band were present to perform their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest at the Toma Fund event in Newcastle. The forth members is expecting a baby :). ImageEuro Friends Song Contest 2012 with Andy Simon: Continuing with the Euro Friends Song Contest in search for the ultimate Eurovision song as voted for by the many fans around the world.  Andy  Simon joins us every week to reveal the qualifiers for the next round.  The website of the Euro Friends Song Contest you will find here where you can easily vote for your favourite Eurovision song per country and also see The Euro-Friends TV Show as hosted by Andy Simon. You can also join the Facebook Group here. This week Andy looks at the next qualifiers from Heat 44 (Sweden) and Heat 45 (Switzerland).  
 
ImageEurovision Spotlight - The Sounds of Azerbaijan:  The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) previously known as the London Azerbaijan Society. Its objective is to promote Azerbaijani culture, business and public affairs to international audiences, and create to a sense of community for expatriate Azerbaijanis. TEAS supports Radio International during the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 and with the weekly edition of the show it will bring you the finest artists of Azerbaijan a bit closer.
However, this week Ross Bennett returns to the airwaves of Radio International and will be reviewing the Eurovision entries from Azerbaijan who joined the Eurovision Song Contest first in 2008 and have gone amazingly all the way to win it in 2011. 
 
ImageEurovision Song Contest NewsLuke Fisher joins the team in the studio every week to bring you the news and the latest developments connected to the Eurovision Song Contest. Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it all for us during the weekly edition of Radio International. He also takes a look at some statistics such as viewing figures in the various countries and more.
