Interview with Eldar & Nigar (Eurovision Winners 2011, Azerbaijan):  El & Nikki were special guests at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2012 at the beginning of February 2012 when they were part of the Jury in the Semi Final of the Maltese Selection to the Eurovision Song Contest and then in the Final they performed beautifully their winning song for Azerbaijan called "Running scared" which won the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Duesseldorf, Germany last May. Just before the show the Team of Radio International met the singers for an interview which you can enjoy during this week's edition of Radio International. 

 

Maltese Artist Spotlight - Eleanor Cassar: Malta is a country with so much great music talents however, the country lacks of a record company which promotes the Maltese Music outside Malta. With Radio International we try to bring into the spotlight some of the big talents there is in Malta. Starting a new series this week Radio International will broadcast each week an interview with a Maltese artists. This week the series starts with an amazing lady with an amazing voice - Eleanor Cassar. Eleanor attempted more then ten times to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest but so far only made it to the runner's up position with "Someday" in 2009. During the recent Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2012 where she was also part of Radio International met and interviewed the young and very energetic singer. Live Interview with Rosina & Steve (Harmony - Netherlands 1978):  Joining the team in the studio this week is Rosina and Steve to promote their new project and song called "Love is a gift".Since this is a Eurovision radio show the act has something to do with the Eurovision Song Contest. In fact, Harmony was a Dutch pop band of the 70s. The group represented the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 1978 in Paris with the song "'t Is OK" reaching Number 13. Harmony consisted of Rosina Louwaars, Donald Lieveld and Ab van Woudenberg. We'll be chatting with the guests about their memories on Eurovision and their upcoming music project called "Love is a Gift" supporting the charity event CHILDRIGHT.
