The Team of Radio International is in Malta for the 2012 Malta Eurovision Song Contest in which the song that will represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan come May 2012. 

 

Public broadcaster pbs kept the same format of the contest like in 2011 in which 24 Semi Finalist compete for the Top 16 places on Friday 03 February 2012. The Top 16 will advance to the Grand Final on Saturday, 04 February 2012 coming from the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre (MFCC) in Ta'Qali in the heart of Malta.  The winner will then represent Malta in Baku at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
