Live Interview with Roberto Meloni of Bonaparti.LV (Latvia 2007) Pirates of the Sea (Latvia 2008):  Radio International is extremely happy to announce the  interview with Roberto Meloni who we know from the two times he participated for Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest together with his band members. In 2007, it was Bonaparti.LV performing "Questa Notte" reaching Number 16 and the following year it was Pirates of the Sea with the song "Wolves of the Sea" reaching Number 12 in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest. Interview with Glen Vella (Malta 2011) & the Glen Vella Quiz:  Eurovision Club Germany had their annual convention on 22 October 2011 in the city which was the Home of the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 - Duesseldorf. Unlike in previous years EC Germany decided to do more of a live concert and let the artists do the job. Daria Kinzer who represented Croatia in 2011, as well as Vukasin Brajic from Bosnia Herzegovina who represented his country in 2010 in Oslo and Malta's Glen Vella who performed "One Life" in Duesseldorf this year missing the Grand Final by just ONE POINT. All three artists were interviewed by Radio International and you can hear the indebt interview with Glen Vella in this week's edition of the show. Glen has been very kind and gave us some CDs to give away as prizes during the show. So listen very carefully to the interview as there will be some questions asked refering to this interview. Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision's Runner Up with Alasdair Rendall:  The series continuous with our Eurovision specialists to take a chronological look at the songs that came second in the Eurovision Song Contest during the years from 1956 to now whereas 1956 had no known ranking. Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 Spotlight with Michael Goodrich:  13 countries will be taking part at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest which will this year come from the capital of Armenia - Yerevan on Saturday, 03 December 2011. Our US correspondent Michael follows the National Finals of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and each week will deliver a summary of what has happened so far.   

 

Euro Friends Song Contest 2012 with Andy Simon: Returning to the Airwaves of Radio International is the next season of the Euro Friends Song Contest. In search for the ultimate Eurovision song as voted for by the many fans around the world the Euro Friends Song Contest 2012 has begun. The selection process is different than in the last edition of the Euro Friends Song Contest where the 1200 plus Eurovision songs were divided into 12 Heats and through Quarter Finals and Semi Finals had a Final with at the end the Ultimate Eurovision Song until 2010 which was won by Norway's Alexander Rybak and the song "Fairytale".
