Interview with D'Nash (Spain 2007): OGAE Luxembourgh held their
5th annual EUROGALA in the legendary Grand Theatre of Luxembourg City
where the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 and 1984 was staged. This year's
edition of the EUROGALA saw the participation of three former Eurovision
performers. Luxembourg's Marion Welter, Portugal's Anabella and Spain's
D'Nash. Over the next weeks on Radio International you will be able to
hear the interviews. Starting this week is D'Nash when Luke
Fisher talks to the boys (Mikel, Javi & Basti) of the group that
represented Spain in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest from Helsinki with
the song "I love you mi vida" coming 20th. Listen to it here on Radio International.
Interview with Justine Pelmelay (Netherlands 1989):
on the 08 October 2011, OGAE Netherlands had their very first
convention in the Dutch City of Rotterdam with the participation of
Justine Pelmelay (Netherlands 1989), Nusa Derenda (Slovenia 2001) and
Lucia Perez (Spain 2011). The Team of Radio International was present
and conduted interviews with all three artists. This week listen to the
interview which JP and Luke Fisher did with Justine Pelmelay on
her experience at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1989 and the time
afterwards. Justine represented the Netherlands at the 1989 Eurovision
Song Contest in Lausanne, Switzerland with the song "Blijf zoals je bent" reaching Number 15.
Eurovision 2012 - Finland's National Final Update with Lilian Brunell:
Radio International's Scandinavian rowing reporter Lilian has been at
the official Press Conference of the Finish Broadcaster YLE where the
songs that will compete in the national final in Finland for the ticket
to the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest where revealed and also how the
Finish selection process is structured. Lilian spoke to Pia Ljungman from YLE and you can find the Top 40 songs selected out of 540 entries here. One of them is going to represent Finland in Baku come May.
Euro Friends Song Contest 2012 with Andy Simon: Returning to the
Airwaves of Radio International is the next season of
the Euro Friends Song Contest. In search for the ultimate Eurovision
song
as voted for by the many fans around the world the Euro Friends Song
Contest 2012 has begun. The selection process is different than in the
last edition of the Euro Friends Song Contest where the 1200 plus
Eurovision songs were divided into 12 Heats and through Quarter Finals
and
Semi Finals had a Final with at the end the Ultimate Eurovision Song
until 2010 which was won by Norway's Alexander Rybak and the song

Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Eurovision's Runner Up with Chris Poppe:
The series continuous with our Eurovision specialists to take a
chronological look at the songs that came second in the Eurovision Song
Contest during the years from 1956 to now whereas 1956 had no known
ranking. Chris joins the team in the studio this week to reflect the
years 1977 to 1981.
Home Composed Song Contest 2011 - The Results: The World has
voted for the 2011 entries of the Home Composed Song Contest. Andy Brook
and his team have counted the votes and produced a couple of voting
shows. However, Radio International is very happy to have Andy on the
show live to reveal the results. Listen to the Top 5 songs of the 2011
Home Composed Song Contest during the show this week which also marks
the end of the 2011 season. For details of the results visit the website
