ImageThe Big Fabrizio Faniello Quiz 2011:  Radio International in collaboration with CAPSOUND from Germany will be conducting the Fabrizio Faniello Quiz 2011 over the next three weeks which means you should not miss any of the next three editions of Radio International. Fabrizio Faniello's album "No surrender" is featured in this quiz and you can win this album which is doing very well in many countries around the globe. In order to win this album courtesy of CAPSOUND you have to listen very carefully to the show where the quiz will be explained. The successful winner of the Quizz will be awarded with the FABRIZIO NO SURRENDER PACKAGE containing of: the Fabrizio signed album "No surrender", a poster, a key chain, the singles "Know me better" & "No surrender". So watch out something you should not miss.  
 
ImageInterview with Nina (Serbia 2011):  Nina represented Serbia at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Caroban" reaching Number 14. "Caroban" means "Magical" which is also the title of Nina's English version. The song is rather 60s/70s retro style which is Nina's preferred musical style to sing in. Find out more from Nina during the interview JP did with the charming singer from Serbia. And our Chatman Klaus will be very happy about this interview as  "Caroban" was his favourite song int he competition this year.
 
ImageInterview with Magdalena Tull (Poland 2011):  The song is called "Jestem" and opened up the 56th Eurovision Song Contest in Duesseldorf Germany this year. The song is performed by Magdalena Tull and was the very first song in Semi Final 1 unfortunately, only receiving 18 points ranking Poland at the anchor position Number 19 of Semi Final 1 meaning that the country was not qualified for the Grand Final. However, listen to the interview Eric and JP did with Madgalena after her first Press Conference at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. 
 
ImageInterview with Zdob si Zdub (Moldova 2011 & 2005): Repeat Offender at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest which was the second time  Moldova's crazy group with an unpronouncable name returned to the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "So Lucky". The song received 97 points ranking Moldova at Number 12 in the 56th Eurovision Song Contest. Zdob si Zdub already represented Moldova in their debut year at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 with the song "Bunica Bate Toba - Grandma beats the drums" reaching Number 6 in Kiew. Eric and JP met the crazy coneheads in Duesseldorf for an extensive interview after their Press Conference.  Due to time constraints in this week's show this interview will air in next week's edition of Radio International. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

ImageHome Composed Song Contest 2011: Radio International is delighted to announce the continuoued collaboration with the organisers of the Home Composed Song Contest 2011. Last year's event was won by the United Kingdom which like at the Eurovision Song Contest means that the winning country will virtually host the following year's contest. Andy Brooks is the prime organiser of the event and has launched the website which you can visit here and see the further details and may the best home composed song win. :)
