ImageMalta's Eurovision Radio with Deo Grech has changed programme place on Malta's ONE Radio from Wednesday evenings to Thursday nights from 2015 - 2145. Fear not if you cannot listen live to this show as we continue to make the show available for you via the Radio International website in the Show Archive but also on the Radio Station Webpage.

ImageThis week's edition of Radio International was a four hour marathon edition co-hosted by Luxembourg's Eric Lehmann. There were many interviews with previous Eurovision performers and the show received many many requests which will be inserted into the play list programming in the shows to come. Thank you for the great participation from the listeners. 
 
ImageLive Interview with Mave O'Rick on the SONG INVASION Project: What is behind that? Mave O'Rick who has been on Radio International previously has come up with the idea to lauch Song Invasion. This project involves six artists from five countries and includes two previous Eurovision Song Contest performers namely Christos Mylordou from Cyprus and Peter alias DQ from Denmark. Find out the details about Song Invasion in our interview with Mave O'Rick and Peter on the show this week.  The website of Song Invasion can be found here. ImageLive Interview with DQ (Denmark 2007): DQ represented Denmark at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Drama Queen" which unfortunately, failed to qualify for the Grand Final. DQ alias Peter joined the team in the studio by phone for an interview to reflext on his time as DQ at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 but moreover, what does his/her career look like these days and he is also part of a brand new project called "Song Invasion " which will be talked about as well during the show. More information about DQ is available via the Facebook Page of DQ or Peter Andresen. 
 
ImageLive Interview with Selma (Iceland 1999 and 2005):  Radio International is extremely happy to be able to engage Iceland's Selma for an interview on Radio International. Selma represented her native Iceland twice at the Eurovision Song Contest. First in 1999 with the song "All out of luck" with which she came second with 146 points when the Eurovison Song Contest came from Jerusalem, Israel. (Winner was Sweden with Charlotte Nilsson "Take me to your heaven"). Then in 2005, Selma returned to the Eurovision stage in Kiev, Ukraine with the song "If I had your love" which unfortunately failed to qualify Iceland for the Grand Final. Will Selma do a third attempt to win the Eurovision Song Contest? Let's find out from her in the interview this week live on Radio International.
 
ImageLive Interview with Marlain Angelides (Cyprus 1999): We stay in 1999 at the Eurovision Song Contest and have also had confirmation that  Marlain Angelides will be part of the show this week in joining the team live in the studio from sunny Cyprus for an interview. She represented her country with the song "Tha 'Nai Erotas" (It will be love) coming 20th in the competition.  Radio International also has the opportunity to play the new song of Marlain called "Today".
 
Image Interview with Jedward (Ireland 2011):  Unfortunately, Radio International did not receive any communication to interview Jedward this week. However, the Radio International production team will stay on the ball to hopefully, in the next few weeks Jedward can be available for an interview with the show. 
 
ImageLive Interview with Susanne Georgi (Andorra 2008): The charming singer originating from Denmark moved to Andorra and represented Andorra at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "La teva decisió (Get a Life)" reaching Number 16 in Semi Final 1 in Moscow. Susanne is also part of the Duo Me and My with her sister who in the 90s had a couple of massive chart hits. One of them well worth a mention is "Dub I Dub". ImageLive Interview with Omar Naber (Slovenia 2005):   Omar Naber represented Slovenia at rhe 2005 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Stop" which unfortunately, did not qualify for the Grand Final in Kiev's Sportspalace. Enjoy this interview on this show this week.
