ImageWonderful Ben Morris Fan T-Shirts and Posters: On the show this week Radio International has been approached by  Ben Morris who is huge Eurovision fan and has designed each 2011 Eurovision entrant  as an icon of which you see an example leading this paragraph. To see the entire selection of these icons go to the Facebook Page of Ben Morris or contact him via his email. T-Shirts are available with the icon you select for just £15 including postage and packing. Please state the size you want S, M, L, XL and the colur either in light blue or white. The posters are available for £ 5.50 including postage and packing. If you are ordering from outside Europe then please add £2 to your order. Again we have to make it clear that this is not the official Eurovision Merchandize but just a fan project. Further details needed then contact Ben Morris.
 
ImageEurovision Interview with Blue (United Kingdom 2011):  Radio International had the pleasure to meet the superstars during their visit to the Maltese National Final in February 2011. Listen to the interview with the four BLUE boys: Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe whose entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 is called "I can" and will be the UK's entry to this year's European Musical Extravaganza. 
 
ImageEurovision in Concert 2011 - Interview with Rene Romkes: The third edition of Eurovision in Concert is organised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands with the participation of many Eurovision 2011 performers. A unique chance to meet the contestants already who will be competing at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Duesseldorf, Germany May 10, 12 & 14. Rene Romkes will be joining the team in the studio this week to tell us all about the event and the latest updates of so far over 20 confirmed countries being part of this event.  
 
ImageInterview with Fabrizio Faniello (Malta National Final 2011):  No stranger to the listeners of Radio International as Fabrizio Faniello was on the show a few times in previous months. Fabrizio entered his song "No surrender" to the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2011 which was held on 12 March 2011 in the Mediterranean Conference Centre of Valetta in Malta. Glen Vella won the ticket to represent Malta at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, however, Fabrizio "No surrender" ranked 4th at the end of the show. Fabrizio Faniello previously represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001 with "Another Summer Night" and in 2006 with "I do". This interview Radio International airs this week coincides very well with Fabrizio's chart success in Germany as "No surrender" has entered the German Charts this week.
 
ImageMelodifestivalen 2011 Recap - Part 2: On 12 March 2011 Sweden selected their entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in May in Duesseldorf, Germany. This is no doubt the biggest national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. Sweden's legendary Globen Arena where in 2000 the Eurovision Song Contest was staged, was full under the roof for the great show on Saturday evening but also all the two dress rehearsals on Saturday afternoon and Friday night were completely sold out. The team of Radio International together with our colleagues from oikotimes.com were present at the event and conducted many interviews with the artists, organizers and the Executive producer Christer Bjoerkman. This week's edition of Radio International continuous to broadcast the interviews with the artists done at Melodifestivalen 2011 were you can touch the stars of the night. There is a short interview with Eric Saade,  Sanna Nielsen and Swingfly during this week's Radio International.

ImageMelodifestivalen 2011 Interview with Eric Saade - The Winner of  Melodifestivalen 2011. Eric Saade won a head to head race the competiion last Saturday in Stockholm's Globen Arena with the song "Popular". Last week you could hear a short interview with Eric Saade right after the winning performance of the night Eric Lehmann and JP had the chance to meet the singer briefly for the first reaction after the victory. But also we had the chance to already have an extended interview with Eric Saade at the Welcome Reception which we will broadcast this week on Radio International.
 
ImageMelodifestivalen 2011 Interview with Sanna Nielsen: One of the favourites of the Melodifestivalen 2011 reached Number 4 with the song "I'm in love" in this year's edition of Sweden's biggest show. Thus becoming the highest ranking lady of the ten competing songs. Sanna Nielsen is also known for a great ballade in the 2008 edition of Melodifestivalen called "Empty Rooms". Radio International had the great pleasure to speak to the great Sanna Nielsen after the dress rehearsal. Sanna disembarks now on a tour of Sweden to celebrate 15 years of her singing career. 
 
ImageMelodifestivalen 2011 Interview with Swingfly: Swingfy originates from the United States of America and has been working together with 2Pac previously. For Melodifestivalen 2011 he teamed up with two fantastic Swedish voices and a bunch of dancers to perform a song "Me and my drum" which ranks 5th in this year's Melodifestivalen. The singer was interviewed after the dress rehearsal on Friday evening.  
 
ImageEuro Friend Song Contest 2011 -  Semi Final 2 - Start Voting Now:  Radio International in collaboration with the Euro Friends Song Contest are in search for the ultimate Eurovision song. The Voting Windows is open from now until next Sunday evening. You too can be member of an international Jury. All you have to do is to contact  Andy on the Face Book Page of the Euro Friends Song Contest. He will get back to you to inform what you have to do in order to vote. Next week Radio International and Andy from the Euro Friends Song Contest will reveal the ten qualifiers of Semi Final 2 during the show. Join to vote for your favourite Eurovision songs by clicking on this link which takes you to the Face Book Page of the Event. Remember, you have to be a member of this Facebook group in order to join the voting or consult the brand new website
 
ImageRadio International 2011 Eurovision Song Contest:  The Juries have voted: After all countries have selected their song representing them at the 56 Eurovision Song Contest in Duesseldorf come May 2011 Radio International has compiled juries from all 43 participating countries who have cast their vote on the Semi Finals. The result of Semi Final 1 will be made public during Radio International this week.  For that Alasdair Rendall will join the team in the studio.
 
ImageEurovision Song Contest Spotlight: 1991 & 2001: Amongst all the 2011Eurovision Song Contest national selections that have been going on over the past weeks it is now time to take a look back at previous Eurovision Song Contests. Alasdair Rendall will join the team in the studio for a revisit of the Eurovision Song Contests of 1991 and 2001.
