Eurovision Interview with the 3Js(Netherlands 2011): The Dutch
National Final was held on Sunday, 30 January 2011 in Hilversum, The
Netherlands with the 3Js having been nominated to represent the
Netherlands at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Duesseldorf. It was
to the jury and to the public to decide which of the five 3Js songs is
to go to Germany come May. The result was that the song "Je Vecht nooit alleen"
won the jury's and the televote. JP had the pleasure and the chance to
meet the guys from Volendam for a very quick interview right after their
press conference with the Dutch media. Find out during the interview

Eurovision Interview with Hind (Netherlands 2008): Hind represented the Netherlands at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Your heart belongs to me"
which unfortunately failed to qualify the Netherlands to the Grand
Final of Europe's biggest music competitation. Hind was also part of the
Dutch National Final last Sunday as Jury member. JP took the chance to
meet the singer again for a brief interview on her time in Belgrade
during Eurovision 2008 and also for a career update. And last but not
least....
Eurovision Interview with Esther Hart (Netherlands 2003): Of
course there is almost no Eurovision show with an Interval Act and the
organising Dutch TV company TROS roled in some of the former Dutch
participants to the Eurovision Song Contest such as Ben Cramer, Marcha,
Marlayne, Sieneke and Eshter Hart. JP had the big pleasure to exchange a
few words with Esther Hart which you can hear on the show this
week. Esther Hart represented the Netherlands in the 2003 Eurovision
Song Contest with the quite successful entry "One more night" reaching Number 11 in Riga.
Eurovision Interview with Marty Brem (Austria 1980 & 1981): Marty Brem was one of the special guests during the recent 2011 convention of the OGAE Germany in Munich. Marty Brem was part of the group Blue Danube back in 1980 reaching Number 8 with the song "Du bist Musik". The year after he was nominated by Austrian TV to return and represent Austria one more time as soloist with the song "Wenn Du da bist"
reaching Number 17. Radio International's Chris Poppe and JP met the
singer for an interview just before he gave his concerts. Please note that due to heavy number of requests during this week's edition of Radio International it has been decided to postpone the broadcast of the interview to a later date. Apologies for the fans who wanted to hear the interview this week.
Euro Friend Song Contest 2011 - Voting Result of the Second Quarterfinal: Radio International in collaboration with the Euro Friends Song Contest are in search for the ultimate Eurovision song and will be announcing during the show this week the ten qualifiers of the second quarterfinal which will go through to the Semi Finals. During the past week international juries have been voting for the first lot of songs on the Face Book Page of the Euro Friends Song Contest. Prime Organiser of this event based on the Eurovision Song Contest, Andy Simon joins the team in the studio to reveal the results. Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight: National Finals: The national selection season has started and on a weekly basis Radio International will assess the songs with a panel of Eurovision experts - the listeners via the oikotimes.tv chat. This week Radio International continues to take a look at the songs for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest from Belgium, Croatia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway & Spain's Finals and Semi Finals and Heats. For that Dermot Manning will join the team in the studio.
