The very first Eurovision Song Contest took place in 1956 in Switzerland and was won by Lys Assia from Switzerland with the song "Refrain". Due to this occasion the Swiss Eurovision Fanclub organized and international Fan Club Convention in Basel's Saalbau Rhypark on 14 October 2006. There the team of Radio International had the pleasure to interview the Queen of Eurovision: LYS ASSIA.
