Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010: The eighth edition of the
Junior Eurovision Song Contest takes place Saturday, 20 November 2010
from Minsk, Belarus where young artists from 14 participating countries
will be competing for the trophy of the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song
Contest. Radio International will bring you a look ahead of the songs
but also reflect a bit of the previous winners of the competition. And
do not forget that www.oikotimes.com is live on location to bring you
coverage live from Minsk. We will be linking up with Minsk during the

Melodifestivalen Interview with Linda Bengzting: (Sweden): The team of Radio International met Linda Bengtzing in Stockholm at a recent event. Eric, Lilian and JP interviewed the energetic singer who particpated three times at Sweden's Melodifestivalen to win the ticket to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2005 "Alla flickor" reached joint 9th. Linda returned to the Melodifestivalen in 2006 with the song "Jag ljuger så bra" that reached Number 7. Linda's third attempt to win Melodifestivalen was in 2008 when her entry "Hur svårt kan det " which came 5th in the Final. As for 2011 Melodifestivalen Linda will be competing with the song "E de fel på mig". Experience her during the interview during the show.
Euro Friend Song Contest 2011 - Start of HEAT 10: Radio
International in collaboration with the Euro Friends Song Contest 2011
announcing the start of HEAT 10 for the international juries to vote on
the Face Book Page of the contest. On the Face Book Page of the Euro
Friends Song Contest, you vote for your 10 favourite songs in the
Eurovision Song Contest amongst the tenth hundred songs of Europe's
biggest music competition. Last week Radio International revealed the
ten qualifiers of HEAT 9 and now HEAT 10 has started and is open to be
voted on until Sunday evening. Next week Radio International and Andy
from the Euro Friends Song Contest will reveal the ten qualifiers of
Heat 10 during the show. You can join to vote for your favourite
Eurovision songs by clicking on this link which takes you to the Face Book Page of the Event. Remember, you have to be a member in order to join the voting.
Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight: Germany - Ralph Siegel. In
view of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest from Germany, Radio
International's four regular Eurovision Experts will be joining us in
turn week by week to review all the German entries of the Eurovision
Song Contest from 1956 to 2010. However, this week sees a slight change
in this slot as Marcus Keppel Palmer takes a special look at the successes of Mr. Eurovision himself - Ralph Siegel
in the German national finals. Next week Ross Bennett is back to
continue with the review of the German entries in the Eurovision Song
Contest 1985 - 1989.

Home Composed Song Contest 2010: Home Composed Song Contest 2010: Radio International continues
the support of this songwriters competition also in 2010. Austria
virtually is hosting this contest this year and visitors to the website
of the OGAE Austria could cast their vote until 31 October 2010 to
their favourite songs. Now the voting is over and the calculation
starts. In the first week of December 2011 the results will be published
by OGAE Austria and Radio International will be broadcasting a special
on the results.
