Eurovision Interview with Alenka Gotar: (Slovenia 2007):  Only recently OGAE Luxembourg held their annual Eurovision Gala in a city of Roeser in Luxembourg. Amongst the Eurovision performers invited was also the representative of Slovenia at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest - Alenka Gotar who with her fantastcic voice and entry is to date the only performer that managed to qualify her country for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest since the inaugeration of the Semi Finals.  In the Grand Final "Cvet z juga" reached Number 15. Euro Friend Song Contest 2010 - HEAT 9: The Qualifiers: Radio International in collaboration with the Euro Friends Song Contest will be announcing during the show this week the ten qualifiers of HEAT 9 of what the international juries have been voting for on the Facebook page. On the Face Book Page of the Euro Friends Song Contest, one could vote for your ten favourite songs in the Eurovision Song Contest  amongst the nineth hundred songs of Europe's biggest music competition.  Two weeks ago Radio International revealed the ten qualifiers of HEAT 8 and now HEAT 9 is closed and the results will be announced during the show by Andy Simon, who is one of the prime organiser of Euro Friends Song Contest 2011.  Heat 10 will start very soon and you can join to vote for your favourite Eurovision songs by clicking on this link which takes you to the Face Book Page of the Event. Remember, you have to be a member in order to join the voting.   

 

Melodifestivalen 2011 - Interviews with the the Winners of the Web Wild Card and "Mr. Melodifestivalen" - Christer Bjoerkman:  On the weekend in Stockholm, Sweden, the voting show took place to decide the two winners of the Web Wild Card to the Melodifestivalen 2011. Lilian Brunell has been at the show and interviewed the winners Julia Alvgard "Better or Worse" and Jonas Matsson "On my Own". In addition, Lilian interviewed Mr. Melodifestivalen - Christer Bjoerkman on his satisfaction of the result. Listen to the interviews during this week's edition of Radio International.

In view of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest from Germany, Radio International's four regular Eurovision Experts will be joining us in turn week by week to review all the German entries of the Eurovision Song Contest from 1956 to 2010. Home Composed Song Contest 2010: Home Composed Song Contest 2010: Radio International continues the support of this songwriters competition also in 2010. Austria virtually is hosting this contest this year and visitors to the website of the OGAE Austria could cast their vote until 31 October 2010 to their favourite songs. Now the voting is over and the calculation starts. In the first week of December 2011 the results will be published by OGAE Austria and Radio International will be broadcasting a special on the results.
