the Moment - Profiles: All 39
countries have
selected their entry to the 55th Eurovision Song Contest which takes
place on 25 & 27 May 2010 for the Semi Finals and the Grand Final
on 29 May 2010. Starting a new series this week Radio International
takes a weekly look at the countries' entries profiles where you learn
more about the performer and the song. Ross Bennett will be starting
with the first lot of countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan,
Belarus, Belgium
and Bosnia-Herzegovina. This way Radio
International will bring you closer the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest
entries so you are already a bit familiar with the songs when you see
them in the Semi Finals and Final. You can also take a look at the

Interview with Sweden's
Andreas Lundsted from Alcazar.
Radio International's roving reporter - Lilian Brunell had the pleasure
to meet up and interview the male part of the group Alcazar who
entered
the run for the 2010 Melodifestivalen in Sweden with the song " Headline".

Eurovision Interview with Gerard James Borg: At the
2010 Malta Eurosong Radio International had the big pleasure in meeting
one of Malta's best song writers - Gerard James Borg who
every year submits many entries to the Malta's national selection to
the Eurovision Song Contest. He is responsible behind the entries of
Morena (2008) - " Vodka" and Claudette Pace (2000) - " Desire"

Eurovision Interview with Flor-de-Lis' Daniela Varela.
Eric
Lehmann & Rene Romkes went to the National Final 2010 in Portugal to
witness the
proceedings there and had the great pleasure to meet yet again
Portugal's great "Ambassador" at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest - Daniela
Varela
who together with her ensemble Flor-de - Lis reached Number
15 in the Final with the great " Todas As Ruas Do Amor". She
handed over the responsibility to Felipa to win Eurovision for
Portugal. Listen

Thea Saliba from Malta in Interview: Thea will we
joining Radio International this week for an interview to update us on
her career and her latest upcoming musical projects. Thea Saliba
represented Malta at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest as part of
Thea and Friends with the song " Make it right". She has visited
the studios of Radio International in August 2009 and performed live on
the Northsea Festival in the Netherlands.
