Radio International goes ... Melodifestivalen 2010 - Interviews with Interval Acts & more

ImageOn 13 March 2010 Stockholm's Globen Arena was the venue for the 2010 Melodifestivalen where the ten finalists competed for the ticket to represent Sweden at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo at the end of May. The Team of Radio International did many interviews with the contestants which you can listen to in last weeks show by clicking here. But also in the first two hours of this week's edition of Radio International you can hear two more interviews.

Melodifestivalen 2010's production team had a brilliant idea for an interval act which featured Eurovision entries from Norway versus Sweden. Eric Lehmann and JP had the chance to meet some of the artists at the Aftershow Party. Listen to interviews with Bobbysocks who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1985 with "Let it swing"  for Norway (although partly Swedish) :), then Charmed who represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2002 reaching Number 11 with  "My heart goes boom". Listen to the interview with Afrodite who represented Sweden at the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest reaching Number  8 with "Never let it go". And finally in the show listen to the interview of the Salem Al Fakir who is the runner up of the 2010 Melodifestivalen with his song "Keep on walking".
