This week Radio International meets Mr. Melodifestivalen - Christer Björkman from Sweden who is the main man behind Melodifestivalen which is Sweden's national music selection show  to select the best songs of the year. The winning song  is used to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest.

 

Christer Björkman himself represented Sweden at the 1992 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "I morgon är en annan dag" reaching Number 22  for Sweden. 

 

JP and Lilian Brunell from Radio International had the big pleasure to meet and interview Christer Björkman on 11 December 2009 in Eskilstuna, Sweden where was presenting a Christmas Show with a Eurovision flavour. Besides the interview the show is spiced with some of Melodifestivalen favourites.
