Oscar Loya & Igor Cukrov Special: This week Radio International airs
music and interviews from Oscar Loya who as Alex Swings Oscar Sings represented Germany at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow with " Miss Kiss Kiss Bang". Then the second Eurovision performer is Igor Cukrov who represented Croatia at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with "
Lijepa Tena (Beautiful Tena)".
Radio International met both artists at a recent Eurovision Convention.
In addition to the interviews and the Eurovision entry Radio
International also plays some other songs from the repertoire of
Oscar Loya and Igor Cukrov.

our Eurovision correspondent from Stockholm, Sweden attended some Press
Conferences hosted by SVT (Swedish
Television). Radio International will air these
interviews during the next weeks. Listen to the

Finland's National Selection 2010: Luke Fisher from www.escdaily.com
joined us to talk about the first Semi Final of the Finish national
selection which happens Friday, 08 January 2010 in Finland. The
following artists were interviewed by escdaily.com and they will also
compete in the first Semi Final: Pentti Hietanen, Amadeus, Nina Lassander, BAEAEBS and Boys of the Band (BOB).
In addition, Radio International also played clips of the songs for you
to get an idea of what Finland might send to Oslo in May. Next week
will be a look ahead to Semi Final 2 with Luke.
Eurovision Song Contest Spotlight - Albania. Our
regular Eurovision Spot with our correspondents Marcus, Ross, Chris and
Alasdair has moved into our second hour and is a bit longer. As we are
fast approaching the 2010 national selections time we start to take a
look at the songs week by week to find out what song and who will be chosen to represent their
country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. This week Alasdair Rendall takes a look at Albania's past and present Eurovision participation
and we finish the Spotlight with this year's entry of Albania.
