Theater Update

Here’s a run-down of some of the best shows touring the Netherlands over Christmas and into 2010.

Hans & Grietje  (Hansel and Gretel) is a well known fairytale and popular at this time of year. Touring Holland from Dec 20^th till May 9^th 2010.

Super musical Chicago is already on stage and plays till the end of May 2010 so far.

The Blues Brothers Musical has had great reviews an will be in the RAI in Amsterdam from Dec 20^th till January 2^nd.

Disney’s Musical Singalong is still as poular as ever for the children and continues to do so till March 15^th 2010.

Amandl Mandela has been delighting audiences with his ‘fight for freedom’ since September this year and ends on January 30^th 2010.

Hairspray, The London West End musical comedy hit has enjoyed great reviews and ends on the first week in May 2010.

Mamma Mia – WOW, has this been a great hit all over the world. There’s still lots of time to see it before it ends in July, 2010.

West Side Story is due to premiere in the Fortis Theater in Scheveningen from December 16^th till 31^st and thereafter goes on tour of the Netherlands untill May 9^th, 2010.

A future musical delight is Mary Poppins. Performed exclusively the Fortis Circus Theater, Scheveningen in The Hague from April 20^th 2010. Tickets are now available online.

Twelve handsome Irish Tenors will woo you with their fantastic choral group over Christmas from December 6^th to December 27^th.

Christmas isn’t Christmas without a Circus or two. The best are the Big Top Circus in the Malieveld in The Hague and they will welcome and entertain the whole family from Dec 18 till January 3^rd.

BIG Christmas Circus AHOY is the biggest circus in Europe so get ready for a whole lotta fun in the Ahoy in Utrecht from December 18^th till 30^th. You are advised to book tickets immediately.

It’s pantomime time again and the Anglo American Theater Group are dishing up some great laughs with Peter Pan this year. It’s on this weekend, December 5^th and 6^th. Be sure of a seat and book right now.

Finally, the Holiday on Ice Spectacular ‘Spirit of the World’  has two venues left for South Holland. December 3^rd till 13^th in The RAI in Amsterdam and The Jaarbeurs in Utrecht from December 24^th till January 3^rd. Book online NOW
