Home Composed Song Contest: Last week Radio
International devoted the entire third hour to the Home Composed Song
Contest 2009 introducing to the listener the 25 songs for which you
could vote for on the website. Voting was closed on 01 November 2009
and the result is now available on the website of the Home Composed

Radio International goes Soraya: Our third
hour this week is a rather special one in which JP introduces the great
music of a great voice and lady - Spain's entry to the Eurovision Song Contest
2009 - Soraya. On the 2009 OGAE Luxembourg Convention on 17 October
2009 the team of Radio International had the pleasure to meet Soraya
again and also interview her. You can hear this interview in this show.

Eurovision Song Contest - the History of the next Host Country:
Norway won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest and also agreed to host the
55th Eurovision Song Contest the Eurovision part of Radio International
thought to take a look back at Norway's participation at the Eurovision
Song Contest. So for the next weeks in rotation Alasdair Rendal,
Chris Poppe, Marcus Keppel-Palmer and Ross Bennett will be telling us
interesting items about host country and each week we review four songs
of Norway. This week Chris takes a look at the Norwegian entries at the Eurovision Song Contest from 1981 to 1984.

This weekend, in fact, Saturday, 07 November 2009 the Eurovision Club Germany hold their annual Eurovision Club (EC) Convention
in Cologne's Gloria Theatre starting at 1430 hours till late. Special
guests are Igor Cukrov (Croatia 2009) Oscar Loya (Germany 2009) and
Hera Bjoerk (Iceland 2009). We had the great pleasure of interviewing
Anke Jonschker from the Eurovision Club Germany on the upcoming event.
