Spain was represented at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest by the lovely Soraya. Her song "La noche es para me" unfortunately, only received 23 points and thus ranks 23rd together with Lithuania in the 54th Eurovision Song Contest. Radio International already met  and interviewed Soraya at the Eurovision Preview Event which was held in Amsterdam's Marcani on 18 April 2009.

Then Soraya was one of the four special guests on the annual Eurovision Gala organised by the Luxembourg Eurovision Club - the OGAE Luxembourg on 17 October 2009. The team of Radio International had the pleasure again to meet and interview Soraya to find out how life has been treating her after her return to Spain from Moscow.
