After the fans' favourite Vania Fernandes who represented Portugal at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest with "Senhora do Mar", Portugal in 2009 was represented by a Vania-look-a-like Daniela Varela fronting the band "Flor-de-Lis". Eric Lehmann and JP had the great pleasure in interviewing the group during the 54th Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow. Flor-de-Lis's song "Todas as ruas do amor" received 57 points after successfully qualifying Portugal for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest reaching Number 15. Then the Eurovision Club of Luxembourg (OGAE Luxembourg) held their annual Eurovision Gala on 17 October 2009 where also Daniela of the band was invited as special star guest of the event. The team of Radio International had the great pleasure to meet up with Daniela for a little interview right after the show. This interview was also filmed and the clip is available on YouTube.
