Andorra was represented at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest by the lovely Susanna Georgi who is originally from Denmark. The song "La teva decisió (Get a Life)". It was Andorra's sixth attempt but unfortunately failed to qualify for the Grand Final of the 54th Eurovision Song Contest which was staged in Moscow's Olympic Indoor Arena in Russia in May 2009.

 

The Team of Radio International had the big pleasure to meet the energetic lady for an interview which was also video filmed. At this point we would like to say a big thank you to Eric Lehmann for conducting the interview and to Kristof de Smet for filming it.

 

Susanna and her sister had a huge hit in 1995 as a group Me & My with the song "Dub I Dub" and in 2007 Susanna presented the Danish Televotes to the Eurovision Audience. More information about her is available here.

Then on 17 October 2009 the Eurovision Club in Luxembourg - the OGAE Luxembourg held their annual Eurovision Gala to which Susanna was also invited as special star guest. Radio International did an interview with Susanna.
