Eurovision Song Contest - the History of the next Host Country:
Norway won the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest and also agreed to host the
55th Eurovision Song Contest the Eurovision part of Radio International
thought to take a look back at Norway's participation at the Eurovision
Song Contest. So for the next weeks in rotation Alasdair Rendal,
Chris Poppe, Marcus Keppel-Palmer and Ross Bennett will be telling us
interesting items about host country and each week we review four songs
of Norway. This week Ally takes a look at the Norwegian entries at the Eurovision Song Contest from 1973 to 1976.

Thea Saliba Song Premiere: Thea represented Malta at
the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest and from then on she has been
recording many songs and working very hard on her career. Beginning of
the week Radio International received her brand new song called "Say my name" which of course we play this week on the show as well. Thea's biggest Dutch fan Harry Bahnen from Rotterdam created a Thea Fan Website which you can find by clicking here.

The new season has started. Serbia won in 2008 and thus is the host of
the 2009 edition of the contest. Check out the website of the HCSC2009

Radio International goes to the 2009 Eurobash: Our series of the Runners-up at the Eurovision Song Contest came to an end last week. This week in our third hour Radio International broadcasts a special edition in which JP and Marcus Keppel-Palmer review the recently held EUROBASH 2009 which was held in Birmingham, UK on 03 October 2009. It is the annual Eurovision convention of the Eurovision Club of the United Kingdom the OGAE UK. This also includes an interview with James Fox who represented the UK at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest. James Fox was one of the special guests invited by OGAE UK.
