Slovenia was represented by Quartissimo feat. Martina at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Love Symphony". Unfortunately, like in 2008 Slovenia did not manage to qualify for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest and ended up at Number 16 in the Semi Final 2 with a total of 14 points. JP of Radio International met the group already on 17 April 2009 at the Dutch Eurovision preview event and used the chance for an interview on a open top bus while driving through Den Haag. JP was joined by Lilian Brunell and Alexander Noordijk from Hoekschewaarde Radio Rotterdam.
