Lithuania in 2009 was represented by Sasha Son who successfully could qualify his country for the Grand Final of the 54th Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow, Russia with the song "Love". Lithuania kicked off the Grand Final of this year's music extravaganza on 16 May 2009 received a total of 23 points and thus placing on number 23.
