The next meeting of Rotterdam Toastmasters will be held on Saturday, 21 March 2009 from 1300 - 1730 hours.

This special event is "The Speech and Evaluation Contest" where the club contest winners of 12 Dutch and Flemish clubs will compete for three places in the next round in Paris. 

 

This is the first time the event is being organised in Rotterdam by the Rotterdam Toastmasters. Between 50 and 100 visitors and Toastmasters members from the Netherlands and Belgium are expected. 

 

Location of the event is Groothandelsgebouw, Stationsplein 15, Rotterdam (next to the Central Station)

 

Guests are very welcome to join and share the excitement. There is small fee of EURO 15.

Then the next regular club meeting of the Rotterdam Toastmasters will be on Tuesday, 24 March 2009 - 2000 - 2130 hours.

Please note that these regular Toastmasters meetings take place  every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, from 2000 - 2130 hours.

 

Location:   NIVON, Dirk Smitsstraat 76, Room 10 (second floor), Rotterdam, The Netherlands

 

There will be three prepared presentations (including one speech on getting to the point, one technical presentation titled “Unravelling the Mystery of Toastmasters” and one humorous presentation titled “Trust”), several open questions where all visitors can get a place in the speaking spotlights and evaluations. After the meeting we’ll have a glass of wine and there will be an opportunity to get to know each other. 

 

Members are from many countries including the UK, Ireland, Australia, China, Indonesia, Germany, Norway, The Phillippines and of course The Netherlands.

As always you can expect a pleasant, fun and informative evening.

Guests are more than welcome to join us, please let us know beforehand and plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early.
